It was a switch from years gone by. But there should be less techno and more blues and rock
I was in one of the crowds and some guy said it was nice to have someone of legal age to have a beer there. There were great bands and other artists on the secondary stages like the Trews and I think that there should be more of these people on the main stage. Nice to see Sam Roberts bit he could be on the main stage or our lady peace.they opened for thé Rolling Stones in 2005 at thé exhibition.
So much online hate for Bluesfest… Get a grip, folks. It’s only pop music, nothing to get bent-out-of-shape about.
In my books, one of the worst years Bluesfest has ever put on.When real “artists” are relegated to smaller stages and the main stage is populated to DJ’s with light shows and rappers that use profanity as a means of what they call their “art form” then you know that the trend to this Junk has taken over.A 125.00 increase in the festival pass from last year was a slap in the face and I ,for one, will only go if there is real talent and not the kind of Crap that is the trend.Good going Mark, you’ve hit a new low in entertainment.
